Quilchena sits between King Edward Avenue and West 37th, close to Shaughnessy. Once low-lying marsh, the land was filled in through the 1940s and 50s and given over to homes and development. A generous share of the neighbourhood remains parkland, including the leafy expanse of Quilchena Park.
