West Kelowna

Across the lake from Kelowna, West Kelowna is a younger city known for its wineries, waterfront and family neighbourhoods.

Communities such as West Kelowna Estates, Shannon Lake and Smith Creek offer newer homes with lake and valley views, many within minutes of the water and the region's celebrated wine trail.

The waterfront at Gellatly Bay, with its beaches, boardwalk and heritage nut farm, is a local gathering place, and Mount Boucherie provides trails and panoramas over the whole valley.

With a slightly more relaxed pace and often better value than the Kelowna side, West Kelowna appeals to families and buyers who want vineyard country living close to a full service city.
