Steveston

Where the Fraser River spills into the Pacific, Steveston fills Richmond's southwest corner. Once home to fifteen busy canneries, it is now a charming seaside village and the base for Canada's largest commercial fishing fleet. A historic boardwalk, independent shops and waterfront restaurants give it a relaxed harbour-town character.

Getting around

The village is reached by car along Steveston Highway and No. 2 Road, with bus connections to the Canada Line for onward trips to Vancouver and the airport.
