Historic Downtown

Abbotsford's historic core runs along South Fraser Way and Essendene Avenue, where early twentieth century storefronts now house cafes, galleries and the Reach Gallery Museum. Mill Lake Park sits just up the hill, its paved loop around the lake one of the city's most used pieces of public space, and a revitalization push over the past decade has added public art, patios and infill housing to the old main street.

Getting around

Highway 1 and South Fraser Way put the rest of Abbotsford and the wider Fraser Valley within easy reach, with regular transit connecting downtown to the University of the Fraser Valley and outlying neighbourhoods.
